I have 8 Rokus. 5 PC’s and 2 tablets, all with the Plex client. I bought a new Android phone and added the Plex client to it. I CAN’T REMEMBER MY PASSWORD. Is there ANY way you can send me the password? I just don’t want to think about re-entering a new password into all my Plex devices. Please?
Most plex clients don’t store your password as such. They store a security token, which is not automatically invalidated when you change your password.
If you don’t activate the indicated checkbox in this screenshot, you should be good.
Otto, THANKS so much. However, to use this particular screen, I have to KNOW my current password, which is the problem, right?
I just asked to be sure: If you use the ‘reset password’ function on the plex.tv website, your connected devices won’t get disconnected from your account.
