When you pause live TV and then later want to go back to live TV, not watch your buffer, what is the best way? With the “new player”, if you click up and try move move the arrows on the progress bar, it seems to do crazy things. Like go forward (right arrow) towards live, but if you go to far it goes back into the past? The progress bar then starts changing and showing random progress. I can’t seem to understand it at all.
I can get logs, but I’m not crashing or anything, seems like intended or known behavior, so before all that, just wanted to ask.
I can then just decide to do multiple clicks over and over on the fast forward button and eventually get back to live TV, this does work.
Two questions, is there no plan to add a “Live” button somewhere? Just reset the stream back to live and kill the buffer? If I’m paused for too long and want live TV back, I find myself hitting back, going to to say Home by clicking up, having stream stop, then back to Guide, then selecting the channel again, and that’s faster than dealing with fast forward. A simple “Live” button would be nice and save a lot of time and seems easy enough to implement.
The second question is am I crazy or does the “new player” progress bar in live TV do weird things if you try to advance it all the way forward?
