Some 15 years ago I had an XBMC-version someone wrote for me which could show a sorted list of actors based on the amount of movies he/she played in your collection.
So, on #1 you may have your favourite actor/actress. The list that came out of that did have some surprises for me.
It had for instance “Samuel L Jackson” inside the top 5. He’s not an actor I like that much, but he was in many of the movies I had back then (pulp fiction).
My collection is much larger than it was then, so I don’t expect him to be inside the top 10, but I’m very curious who would be now.
It could even be improved if it would add the IMDb score to it.
So an occurrence in a movie with a score of 4 points, would give 1.4, a score of 7 would give an occurrence rate of 1.7
This would improve Samuel L Jackson’s score as he may not be such a good actor to me, he did manage to get himself casted in many good movies.
This Top 250 will be very personal, so you can’t get this on the net.
