Personal Media List View forces Movies to List View as well

My Plex has Movies and TV Shows Libraries and I can set the views to be independent of each other like Movies could be Grid View and TV Shows could be List View. That works fine. I also have lot of personal videos and I have them in their own library called Family. So now I have Movies, TV Shows and Family. Since the filenames in Family are a bit longer, I choose to use List View for the Family videos.

Problem is that when I set Family to List View, Movies are also forced to List View. Setting one changes both. Note that this does not affect TV Shows. TV Shows stays as Grid View regardless. Is there a way to keep this from happening? I want Grid View for TV Shows and Movies and I want List View for Family.

When I set up the Family library, I chose Other Videos for the type. Under the Library Advanced section, I chose Scanner: ‘Plex Video Files Scanner’ and for Agent: ‘Personal Media’.

Any help would be appreciated.

[This issue has already been reported by NebulaM57 in 2019 where it went unanswered, it is clearly an issue that has not ben fixed]
