Unable to change displayed columns in List View for libraries of type "Other Video"

This issue affects both Plex for Windows and Plex Web.

I have 2 libraries of type “Other Videos”. They are both using the “Plex Video Files Scanner” scanner and “Personal Media” agent. (The issue is still present if I switch the scanner to “Plex Video Files”, I’m not sure what the difference between the two is).

I view these libraries in List View. For the last few server updates, I’ve noticed that the columns I choose to display aren’t being displayed. The only columns who have data displayed seem to be Title, Year, Duration, and Progress. This info displays regardless of the columns I’ve chosen (e.g. the Year data shows up, but I’ve not chosen to display the Year column).

Note that the columns I’ve selected have nothing to do with the column data being displayed. The data being displayed is fixed, even if I add or remove more columns on the top.

This issue doesn’t affect libraries I’ve designated as “TV Show” or “Movies”.

I see the same issue in server 1.21.1.3795 with Plex Web 4.49.2

Same issue affects the Mac client. Still evident 2 months later. This seems like an obvious bug that should be attracting some attention.

Columns in list view show up wrong in personal media agent

Hello, When i open the plex player for windows or the web based plex player and go to my personal videos, then i see that the columns or arranged wrong when selecting list view. When i look at my movies there is no problem. I think there is a bug in the personal media agent, column viewer or something. It happens with all my personal media lists. @OttoKerner replied saying it was a known issue over a month ago. Their reply suggests they know about the issue, but have no intention of fixing it, but rather are just designing a completely new view to display it differently. However, they’ve given no ETA on when we could expect this new view.

At this point, it’s been an issue for over 3 months. It’s kind of ridiculous now.
