For some reason new Plex can’t handle when a PGS has different locations on the screen. It works fine in Classic Plex (I’m not updating the main device until this is fixed).
An example is the movie Your Name. at times 27:06 and 27:14 where there are subtitles on the top and bottom of the screen (shown in the image). In new Plex it won’t show the top subtitles and quickly flashes on the screen.
This is odd because PGS subtitles are images. I think one of our QA guys watches a bunch of anime so may have an example to test with. Thanks for report.
It is. Like I said, it only happens in the new version of Plex. Rolling back to before the refresh and everything shows as expected. I’ve tested this on 2 phones and 1 tablet (all android)
It just so happens that Your Name. is one of my favourite movies or wouldn’t have noticed.
