I have recently started with the Premium subscription and was very disappointed with the way Photo libraries are being handled via the PMS. They are extremely slow. I have read the old posts and it seems there is no solution and the discussion on this topic has been active for over three years.
I have PMS installed on my Netgear ReadyNAS 314. I have tested the photo libraries on Windows, Mac and on Apple TV. Almost unusable.
