Photo Library sorting

HI there,

i have a question regarding the photo library. My Plex Server is running on Raspbian and i use either the web interface or the xbox app as a client.

i added some pictures to the library which i have named sequentially, i.e. _001.jpeg to _xyz.jpeg. The file name is automatically used as the sort title in the library.

however when i start watching the pictures everything seems to be sorted by the date the picture was taken from the metadata.

is there any way to avoid this? i could not find any config option and the sort titles of the images are not working as i think they are supposed to.

This has been previously reported.

Best thing to do is to vote for this by clicking ‘Like’ on the first message in that thread. Plex uses these votes to prioritize their efforts.

So i guess this thread here is done.
