Thanks for the prompt reply Baa.
Okay - so does that mean the photos should automatically rotate (assuming the exif data says so)?
If they're not rotating automatically, how would you go about fixing this?

If you force a transcode. aTV/iOS doesn't seem to care about EXIF.
Hi Baa,
Can I ask how you 'force a transcode' please?
I'm using Plex running on a Freenas NAS box as a plugin. My interface to Plex is via a webGUI.
Is there a menu option I should use at all?
On the aTV go into PlexConnect and over to the settings tab then down near the bottom of the settings list look for “Photo Transcoder Action” and change it from “Auto” to “Transcode”
Thanks Roidy but I don't have an aTV - I'm using a web browser to the webGUI of Plex running on my Freenas box.
Is there a way to initiate a 'forced transcode' in this webGUI? Seems different to the aTV - I don't have a 'PlexConnect' option.....
Uh. Plex/Web. I guess you are at the wrong place in this sub forum - everything aTV/PLexConnect related.
As for Plex/Web, I have no idea, if there is such a setting... anybody else?
