Photo slideshow doesn't work on Apple TV

The slideshow of any of my photo albums in Plex is working on all my devices but NOT on my Apple TV (4K). When pressing play, it shows the first photo and stays on that.

Has no one else encountered this problem? Any solution?

I have the same problem, photo slideshow works fine on my Samsung Plex app, but not on the Apple TV. Won’t play any of my photo playlists and the photo screensaver doesn’t work either. Super buggy but I guess there aren’t enough people using it for this purpose to complain.

Photo slideshows have in fact never worked for me on AppleTV.

It’s so sad that this whole product component isn’t getting the right attention, it has so much potential… :roll_eyes: But yeah, you’re right, the majority of the people flocked to G Suite / iCloud, giving all their data away. Such a pity.
I still hope that one day we’ll see a revival, though.

This has never worked for me either on Apple TV Plex app. Slideshow seems to work fine in other apps (like the Roku app).
