I have never been able to display my photos on my Apple TV4. I see the preview. When I click on it, I get a black screen with a white line circle and the picture never shows up. My home videos work fine. I can successfully see my photos on my iPhone and computer browser. Any suggestions on how I can get my Apple Tv4 to work with photos? Thanks!
I experience the same issue with both of my ATV4 devices.
I guess we are the only two experiencing this? Several months ago when it did work, it would take forever to load. My Plex server isn’t bottlenecking either – plenty of resources available.
I haven’t had much luck getting solutions to my Plex problems on these forums.
I found out last night that I can start seeing photos and videos. It’s a horribly slow platform but I was actually able to see my items. I’m running the latest PMS (1.10.1.4561).
You might make sure you are on the latest version and see if you can pull any photos up. It’s not great but it is a start.
I can view my library much better from any computing device. iOS seems okay as well. ATV4 is barely able to make it worth while to pull up a photo. My server/network is not the bottleneck.
