I’m running the media server on Synology, and I can see my Photos in the iOS viewer. However, on the Chromecast / Google TV viewer app, it does show my NAS machine as a source, but it has no Photos entry in the left-hand navigation.
To be clear, where it shows the name of my Synology machine in the Chromecast viewer, there is a small, orange warning symbol… but I see know way to learn what the warning is. The Chromecast remote is not helpful.
