I have one installed FreeNAS-9.10.2-U6, movies, songs, series, and photos.
It works perfectly but in the photo gallery the photos follow an order I think random because I renamed 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg … 20.jpg.
When I’m going to visualize it starts 1, 2, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 3.
How to fix this situation.
If i am understanding you correctly. Name them 001.jpg, 002.jpg 003.jpg and so on
This is the problem are already named this way, but when we go to watch the photos, it gets in a different order.
What BigWheel means is to insert the leading zeroes in the filenames. Your first post said your files are named 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg…
Because filenames can contain both alpha and numeric characters, programs like Plex are pretty much forced to sort them alphabetically rather than numerically. So files named 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…9, 10, 11 will end up in the order 1, 10, 11, 2, 3, 4, 5…
‘Padding’ the names with leading zeroes forces the files to be sorted correctly, ie., 001, 002, 003, 004, 005,…009, 010, 011…
I want to thank everyone who helped me solve the problem.
Solution: 01.jpg. 02.jpg, 03.jpg … 10.jpg, 11.jpg.
It’s working perfectly.
