About 1 out of every 10 recordings is a partial recording. A good example is this recording of NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. It recorded just over a minute, and quit.
Could someone with a good eye for server logs take a look? I’ve truncated the logs to focus on just the timeframe in question. (17:30+).
It is better to upload the full logs generated from Server>Troubleshooting>Download logs.
Looks like a weak signal causing a missing segment to be (not) generated. Could also be a space/storage issue if you are writing to the internal storage.

This is a plague when recording longer files like movies. No warnings, just a short file and can happen at start or end of video. It is NOT a weak signal, it is a BUG in checking for conflicts over the entire length of a scheduled recording. A WARNING icon for “Partial Recordings” should be on the thumbnail so you don’t just click and play, then it abruptly ends without any warning. This bug pisses me off.
I continue to get this problem, despite having bought a massive antenna and improved signal. There is no logic for whats going on, and this is clearly a PLEX bug. again last night on multiple shows…
