EDIT: Also I'd like to formally apologize for not keeping with the one feature per topic rule but I really couldn't have posted each of them as separate features since apart they aren't even worth mentioning.
Here is a mock-up of some features I think would be outstanding for PMS.
This would include but not be limited to:
Global playlist called: Favorites
Global playlist called: Queue
Custom Playlist functionality.
Ability to select multiple files.
Ability to Play Selected.
Ability to Play All from anywhere like: Inside a Season of a TV Show, or a whole series of movies.
A playlist manager for saving, sorting, and overall playlist management.
Playlist Manager would also have the ability to export any playlist to at least something like XML or some other human/parse-able format.
Access to the buttons added in the form of an API for plugins to add their own buttons.
Perhaps a 'Share With...' button later on.

Good idea... in the interim though I'd like to see the play all / shuffle feature just introduced to feature above all drill down views in plex... so we can shuffle all in a single show, or season perhaps

I agree, I started by making the Play All button and I kind of got carried away :P

The play queues introduced last week are available on show, season, artist and album details views. So the lefthand action bar in these views should now have (some of) what you want:
(make sure you've updated to the latest PMS for these - the fallback for old servers only has these options on music albums)

I don't know exactly where to post that so I do it here. If I'm wrong, do not hesitate to move it or ask me to post it somewhere else.
I'm trying to use the new introduced play queue and found some weared (at least from my point of view) behavior.
On Plex/Web 2.0, from the Show view, we can only Play unwatched but, from the season view, we can only Play all the episodes. I'd like to have both options on both views or, at least, play unwatched from the season view. From the TV shows section view, we can only play all, without having the ability to play only unwatched.
From iOS, I can only start "Play all" from the TV show section view. Not yet found how to start unwatched only for a specific show.

For Plex/Web - If you want to 'play unwatched' in the TV shows section view, you can create a filter of 'unwatched' and then 'play all'. There isn't currently support for 'play unwatched' at the season level.
