In the past if I go to a tv show and press the button Play, it played the next unseen episode. But since the last update it plays always the firrst episode of the first season. This is annoying.
Can you please check this. On the screen it shows me the next unseen episode. So it should also play the next unseen episode.
Now I have to go to the season and the episode to play it. this is very involved.
I don‘t know if the problem was the last update of the server app or the apple tv app.
Just wanted to add this issue occurs for me as well. I don’t believe it was due to a server update (at least on my end) because I haven’t updated my server for a few months. My Apple TV client apps are set to automatically update, and all seem to be having this issue now recently. I can provide more info if needed.
Glad it’s not just me! This is a really annoying bug. At the show level of a TV show the “On Deck” badge clearly shows the latest episode, however pressing play just plays the first episode of a show no matter what.
This used to happen on the odd occasion for me, but now it’s every time.
Every day I press play and after the intro I see it is the wrong episode. Every time I‘ve forgotten this issue. And so I run every time into this issue. Please fix this bug fast.
