Play/Pause button clicking twice on AiO touchscreen

When I am playing a song and press the Windows play/pause button on my keyboard or click the control button in Plex with the mouse, it operates normally. When I touch the screen using my finger, it clicks twice with about 100-200 ms in between causing it to return to whichever mode it was in a second ago.
I found two other posts this year reporting the same problem. I would have responded to them, but they have been automatically closed with no resolution.

Plex for Web - bugs with touch screen

Server Version#: Player Version#: When using a touch interface such as Microsoft Surface Go, or any tablet using Plex Web, when pressing the play/pause button at the bottom player bar, there is a bug, where the player pauses and play and pauses rapidly, and keeps going on and off and on and off. This happens when using Plex for Web on computer and tablet Chrome, and also when using Plex Player for Windows where Surface Go tablet is used.

Buttons work incorrectly on touchscreen laptop

Server Version#: Version 1.18.4.2171 Player Version#: Website Version 4.18.1 I have an Asus touch-enabled Windows 10 laptop. Every so often I go to pause the Plex web app music player with my finger. It seems like the play/pause button registering the touch as a click as well. It double clicks when you touch it. Other buttons like repeat also have double-touch issues.
