I’m thinking this is a server issue, because this happens on ALL of my plex players (Android Phone, Android TV, Fire TV).
When I first start up Plex, I go to watch a new show, I go to Play, it plays for 1-2 seconds, then appears to end, and displays the screen where it wants to watch the next episode automatically after so many seconds. I end up going back and trying it again and it usually will play the entire episode, sometimes it will do the same thing two times, maybe three, but after trying and trying it will work. This has been occurring for quite sometime, even with regular updates to my Plex server and players. I’m not sure how to troubleshoot this, which logs to look at, I don’t see anything in Plex Media Server.log, maybe I need to turn on verbose logging and see if it happens again? I see other posts complaining about this, but no one ever replies… I think people just “Deal” with it…
