Just signed up for Plex bronze and whenever I try to play anything, whether I try to play anything, whether in 4k or 1080p, it will play for a few seconds and then it stops and I get a message that says “(server name) asked to stop your playback from this server: Account error. Please contact us to resolve.” Anyone else has this issue?
There is no “Plex bronze” that I’m aware of associated with this company
It sounds to me like you’ve signed up with an illegal streaming service
Are you hosting your own server somewhere or paying for access to a Plex server?
The former is fine. The latter is against Plex’s terms of service.
If you are hosting somewhere, it appears that company does not allow video transcoding. You should first contact them regarding what they do / do not support.
