My parents have been having an issue for a while with their roku where every now and then plex will tell them a file does not exist, this will happen either at the start of their playback or a few minutes in, sometimes they’ll get 10+ minutes in, it’s not consistent but when it occurs with the roku they end up not being able to watch it.
This doesn’t seem to be an issue on firestick or using the web browser, I have yet to test this on my nvidia shield, but I while on my PC I decided to try the new htpc and it occurs on that as well, oddly enough with the same file, more specifically I just get.
“Playback Error - An unexpected playback problem occured”
But on their roku it claims the file is missing.
I took a look through the logs as this just happened and I found that everytime they try to play this file the following warning occurs
