Well, I’m not giving up anytime soon. The German forum was unfortunately of no help. That’s why I’m trying it here.
Some time ago, @Moussa wrote that the problem:

with the note:

Playback stops after the end of an airing.
would be fixed.
Is there perhaps a solution here in the meantime?
There was also a discussion before the supposed elimination of the problem, but without a solution. As I said, the problem has been fixed, but I still have it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Plex package for Synology.
At the moment I’m running the version of both Plex Media Server and Plex for Mac / Windows from December 8th (release).
