It’s about the problem that Plex for Windows, as well as Plex for Mac and the Plex for Desktop on windows (Web App app.plex.tv), at irregular intervals, reproducibly, after the end of a broadcast, a few minutes later, the playback stops and I get the error message:
I have only refered the issue with Plex Web and Plex Desktop to the development team. If you say the same issue exists with other Plex client apps then I would need to get diagnostics and refer to the relevant development teams
Screenshot at time of problem and noting down time of problem and what time you started watching the TV channel and before reproducing the problem,. to have had logging enabled for the server (debug) and where available as a setting for the client app as well

We have a fix for the issue of DVR Live TV streaming failing sometime after start
The fix is in Plex Web and initially is available in the hosted Plex Web that is on https://app.plex.tv/desktop

Fix live tv session stopped after a period of time.
The fix will get included in the Plex Desktop app sometime soon and will eventually also be included in the Plex Web app bundled within Plex Media Server
I did manage to get DVR Live TV running for 18 hours before I stopped - when I tested out the fix before release.
Could you check what you have in Plex Web settings for the https://app.plex.tv/desktop app
After opening this page, select Settings and then Show Advanced and then Debug and then see what you have set for Use alternate streaming protocol for video playback
My tests were using the default - with this not selected
Do you have the other debug advanced settings as default? Direct Play ticked Direct Stream ticked
and for Quality settings Automaticaly adjust quality unticked

Lets get server logs and indication of how soon after DVR Live TV streaming does the error arise?
For the diagnostics for this, I would like both debug and verbose settings enabled for the server
So Settings / Server / General / Show Advanced
Enable both Debug Logging and Verbose Logging
Save changes
Restart the server to get fresh logs created
Wait a couple of minutes and then start the DVR Live TV streaming
Note down the time
and get a screenshot and time of the error
and then capture the server logs zip - through settings / Server / Troubleshooting / Download Logs
and attach the zip with the screenshot and the information relating to the time of start / fail
After you collect the diagnostics, disable verbose logging leaving only debug logging enabled on the server
