For some reason I have 1 file in on my server that will not even start playing on my Nvidia Shield. If I play the file on my PC it plays just fine. It is a .MKV file and only about 16gigs. My multiple 4k files play no problem. I have cat6 ran directly from the PC into the shield, but this 1 file, when I select to play it, the server doesn’t even show that it’s started to transcode it. What do you think the problem could be?
Okay, I will post the log file here when I get a chance. I can also play the file with 0 issues from my phone, it just won’t play on the shield for whatever reason.

Also, I have gone into plex and had it “optimize” the file as well, I have put it in make.mkv and reconverted it myself, still nothing has fixed it. I can also play the same file in other locations and it works just fine. Thanks for the help.
I did recreate the problem before I saved the log files. I went straight to the movie, hit play, let it sit for 5 minutes or so trying to load, then pulled the log files immediately after.
That’s what I’m saying, for whatever reason it’s not even trying to play it. If I watch the activity on my PC it doesn’t even show anything tried to start playing the file. It only does it from the shield, every other device will play it just fine and the server activity shows that it’s playing, but when I select it from the Shield the loading circle just sits and spins.
