I’m sure everyone has come across the occurrence of double episodes before, they’re usually labeled along the lines of ‘[seriesname]’ s01e12e13 or ‘[seriesname] s01e12-e13’. These type of double episodes are especially common in cartoons, with some shows that have every ‘episode’ as a double.
Plex itself handle importing the files without any issues and will split them up into individual episodes in the interface.
Currently, when a user goes to watch a double episode, ie clicks on episode 12 for this example, the media player will play the file of the double episode. However, Plex only marks episode 12 as watched, and if autoplay is on, or a user comes back at a later date to watch the next episode (e14), only episode 12 is marked as watched so the media player will play e12-e13 again instead of moving on to e14
What I am suggesting is if plex to plays a double episode, mark both episodes as watched. Additionally, if autoplay is on, it should not repeat a double episode.
