playback of music crashes Rasplex 1.0.1

Hi Guys, not sure if anyone else has this issue or if its known. But when I select an album or some music to play, i hear about a second of it and then it crashes going back to Rasplex logo. This seems to be the case for anything i play (all mp3s or Flac). I do not have any issues playing films or TV series. Just Music is affected.

For the record, when I was testing PMP, the music played fine. Also I cant recall, but im sure it all worked prior to 1.0.1.

Not a known issue, I can play any MP3, M4A, Flac and lossless WMA tracks within issues, one of my headless RPi’s plays music most of the day.

Have you tried a reflash?

interesting, so i’m the only one. This was a fresh install a few days back onto a new SD card, The only thing which I just thought off was I have the Black skin…wonder if that could have anything to do with it ?

Don’t think it’s that, I use that skin on all my RPi’s, sorry.

Any chance you can file an issue on GitHub and provide a debug log file?

ok,have some updates. Figured it out. So it seems I must have set the visualization (in preferences/settings/music) to OpenGL Spectrum. This was causing the crashing. Once i put it to Now playing everything works as expected.

let me know if you still need the logs etc.

All other visualisations have been removed, only Now Playing is available in next release.
