Playback of remote file fails... others seem to work fine

When I try to play a particular file that’s on a server of mine that’s at a different location. It fails playback every time. Other files from the server work fine. --And I can play the file in question via the web browser and Plex Media Player just fine as well.

It also plays just fine on RasPlex…

OpenPHT 1.5.1
PMS Version 0.9.15.6 (linux)

I captured log files from when I tried to initiate playback from both the client and the server (note captured one, then tried again and captured the other so the timestamps will be different… but same file).

Server log: http://ecklund.us/paste/?8ccbeba6fb3dda48#H5gNc4hJgzDVrQHn9yrLR50EM1usd8HRLbfNVsdCqvk=
OpenPHT log: http://ecklund.us/paste/?1880bf935b123a38#iyyElEc+uF24WrazetyZeUafgrqNLHCJ02vmEQG1250=

Note: Playback also works PHT latest version.

Anyone? Bueller?

Seriously? Nothing? Am I asking in the wrong place?

From the log it looks like the client is trying to open a transcoded version of your file but the server do not respond within the timeout period of 30 or 60 seconds.

Can you try to enable/disable use of AVIO transport and/or try different transcoding options.
The server log do not show the transcoding request, it will be much more helpful if the server and client logs is from same time, thanks.

Also try with the latest 1.5.2 version both the x86_64 and i386 version (they use different versions of libcurl).

Sorry it took so long to get back here. I disabled AVIO and playback works. Skipping back or forward, sadly, does not (for remote files).
