I'm interested in developing a plugin to allow my LCD display on my PC case to interact with Plex. The inbuilt LCD drivers allow it to talk to Windows MCE and display rudimentary information about what's playing. There's not anything available for PLEX at the moment so I'd like to attempt to make something.
I've skimmed through the documentation for Plex plugins but can't seem to find anything that explicitly mentions talking to plex to find out playback state, currently playing file, current duration etc.
Is there more information on this or am I simply looking in the wrong place?
