Are there any plans to make features of Desktop app as close to HTPC / TV App feature set?
Like Extras for episodes and so on?
Really annoying when same app (player) have different feature set 
So just curious why Plex Desktop app for Windows doesn’t have extras support and not even showing them while Plex HTPC for Windows does?
Why do we even need two separate apps? There could be HTPC mode in Plex Desktop just like Steam have Big picture mode.
Nope, still missing features:
The point was that there’s an existing feature suggestion to add parity to the various Plex clients already for this particular feature. Vote on that suggestion.
(Plex doesn’t share their future feature plans. Nor do they generally rationalize why they’ve made existing decisions for current features.)
