So,
It has been 4 months from when I opened the thread and I have something new to add…
Well, I bought a LG OLED G1 65" in my work room, mostly to use with my PC / Consoles… Although of course Netflix/Plex are also in my mind with this TV…
And the results are not good at all…
I tried to play Loki S01E01 over network with horrible results…

I clipped subtitle section but that’s not important…
First of all player is a bit different from Android version. At first it seemed ok. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos is detected by TV, it started great. Then about 3-4 minutes in, the audio started to stutter very badly and video/audio desynchronized… There was no transcoding and it was Direct Play.
I also bought an Apple TV 4K ( the new one that just came out ) to see how it handles… Unfortunately it didn’t detect Dolby Vision at all and there were greenish/reddish hues everywhere. Although it did play without audio problem. The only fault was Dolby Vision, which was of course without it it was unplayable at all…
So, I copied my files to a disk and played directly from there. There was almost no problem whatsoever other than the LG’s screen configuration which was stuck on Cinema or Cinema Home etc… I couldn’t use Filmmaker or other extended profiles at all. It was a bit dark but playback was without a hitch.
I connected my LG TV to my router which was beside my TV again… I tried wireless and wired. Again, I don’t know why TV manufacturers insist on 100mbps connection on cable. Is gigabit connection really hard to do on TVs?
So, it should be due to network right? Although plex didn’t show any loading animation or said the network speed is lousy. Only audio stuttered like hell.
BTW, I did check out Mythic Quest also:

This one played without any problem on Plex. As you can see the bitrate is higher than Loki, although it played perfectly.
