I would like to suggest the ability to adjust the Player UI. I'm using the Android player specifically so can't talk about others.
I use it on phones and on tablets and on all I find the buttons are too close together. There is a lot of real estate not being used to allow for the spacing to be adjusted, either by code in player or by settings by user.
A little more width would make it easier.
