Playing live streams from m3u

I am working on a plugin to play live streams from m3u file which contains .ts links. They start fine, though playback stops after 10 seconds (due to defined chunk duration?). Is there any workaround for this, or live streams like that can’t be used with plex?

How is your url service handling the playlist?

if they are HLS playlists, you do something like this, where url is the m3u8:

@indirect
def Play(url, **kwargs):
    return IndirectResponse(VideoClipObject, key=HTTPLiveStreamURL(url))

see my Twitch.tv channel, or a youtube channel for an example of that.

@coryo123 I actually did not create Services for it, anyway got it to work. It turned out that I went 1 level to deep into playlist’s structure. Thanks for your replay anyway!

There was an update to the site, and I need to update the plugin, but I did not find any time to do it yet. It will not work at the moment!
