Playing Music in Plex Media Player causes my GPU to spike, and my fans to start up, as long as I don’t maximise the player.
This is with Player not maximized:
And here’s the same song playing with Player maximized in Plex Media Player - notice almost 0% GPU and about 1/3 of the CPU usage compared to above:

Knowing your version of macOS and how you displayed the GPU graphs would be great.

I was away for a while, playing with Emby, its far superior metadata engine, and its inferior general UI.
If I file an issue over on github, do I have to go through the entire «make a movie, explain in every smallest detail what’s happening» rigmarole?
