I’ve finally started adding music videos to my music section and Plex recognizes the files however, I can not actually view the videos. Am I doing something wrong?
Click on the ellipsis on the very right-hand side to bring up the context menu. From there you have the option to ‘Play Music Video’
Also, you are now able to add music videos to playlists. Go to the Artist page and then under the Music Video section. Hover your mouse over the music video to reveal an ellipsis. Click on it for the context menu with an option to ‘Add to Playlist…’
I really like this new addition and I hope this helps.
If you’re trying to view the video by clicking the little icon next to the artist name, this doesn’t work like it did in the old UI.
The Play Music Video command has been moved to the overflow menu (’…’)
