This has been an ongoing issue for a few years for me, across different versions of the server and Plex HTPC.
For a while I was able to deal with it because pressing Play on the media keyboard I have would restart the playlist but now even that’s not working.
This only happens to me with Plex HTPC and playing back a video playlist.
I have a smart playlist that collects random episodes of shows based on a label assigned to the show. There is no limit on items in the playlist. This is my background noise playlist, so it’s random episodes of TV shows that play continuously in the background.
The playlist will work fine for a few episodes, and then when the next episode is about to play, the screen returns to the view of the playlist.
I had to zip up the crash log because it was too large to attach here.
