A modern media player shouldn’t just be happy being just another video app. Picking episodes one at a time or continuously watching one show.
Most people watch a few shows at a time and presently there is no ideal way to have a continuous watching experience.
In a perfect world Plex would give admins the ability to create channels with local content that would populate the EPG. I recognize that’s probably a big ask and a long term request at best.
In the meantime if we were given the ability to create playlists that we could set sort order to something like “alternate”. Selecting this option would take all shows included in the playlist and alternate between them.
It’s also be nice if we could give playlists cover art. At least then the playlist screen could be made to look like a channel selector by admins.
