So, I love how I can see what songs were played during an episode of a TV show and preview them to ensure it’s the correct one thanks to the integration with Tidal. Sometimes however, I’ll watch something that plays a song that’s in my Plex music Library and if I want to play the song, it shows me the Tidal link only.
I don’t currently have a tidal subscription but would like to have it also look in my Plex music Library so that I can play the entire song from there. In the screenshot above, I can see 2 tracks including Penitentiary by Citizen Cope which is one of my favorite songs and I wanted to play it but it played the 30 second clip even though Citizen Cope’s entire discography is in my Library.
There’s actually already an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to link soundtrack items to your library (instead of depending on online ones from Tidal. I suggest you have a look at that thread and comment/vote there to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’ve missed some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close it as a duplicate.
