Please bring back cloud storage integration

Please bring back option to attach One Drive, Google Drive API integration option back. I am using Google Drive Stream but it requires me to have a plex server running all the time. Can you please bring back option like before where we can attach our google drive or even shared drives into our plex account? There are several other alternative of plex who are using this without any problem.

There are?

Nope.
Kodi perhaps.
And for those in the Apple ecosystem definitely Infuse.

Kodi and Infuse are both clients apps only. Neither have a cloud server option.

I dont think we’re talking about cloud server options here. Although, ipad pro def has the power required to run a plex server with hybrid storage. Is this something the team might be working on?

but yeah, infuse is the option. 9.99 for an annual subscription and it’s super easy to add most popular cloud storage drives.

Def have to qualify tho, I will forever wait out for Plex to come thru here. the infuse audio quality is no match for what we get with Plex

But the request is to “bring back”. The only time Plex has supported cloud providers was with Plex Cloud Server. Regular Plex Media Server on a local machine has never supported directly reading from a cloud provider. So it’s not something that can be “brought back”. This really would be new.

true, i’m not op, but i think this was what they meant
