When watching live TV or recordings on my iPhone, I’d like audio playback to continue even when switching apps. When I try this today, it just immediately stops playback and requires a long reload time to start watching again when switching back to the app.
Usage scenario is simply that I might want to switch away from live TV during commercials but be able to hear when to switch back. Or even just quickly switch back and forth to check something occasionally without the app completely losing context.
