Hi all, got a Samsung QN90F 2025 version running the latest plex app.
I’ve noticed when I play a movie with EAC3, it direct plays fine, and everything is great - when I play a movie with AC3, it wants to transcode to AAC and puts a load on my server and only plays a minute before my server throws an error. If I go into settings for the movie on the plex app on the samsung tv and force direct play, it plays the ac3 fine without transcoding and I can watch the entire film.
DTS to AAC is working fine (my samsung tv doesn’t support DTS so makes sense to transcode).
In essence can you please fix the Samsung 2025 TV app to make it aware it can direct play AC3 and doesn’t need to transcode to AAC?
