PLEASE IMPROVE: Summary view

three requests:

  1. remove the 750px max-width on the description paragraph. on a 1080p screen, this leaves 4 inches of dead space

  2. increase the thumbnail size (or give us the option to do so with a slider). 65px width is too tiny to see the poster art. previous UI had a larger thumbnail (about 100px width). again, very small on a 1080p screen. slider would be ideal. [mod-edit: duplicate → Bigger Thumbnails in Summary View (for folder view, youtube content)]

  3. show release year like previous UI (to the right of the title). both of the other views (list and grid) show release year (except tv grid), but it’s missing from summary. i prefer summary view for both tv and film libraries, so this is probably the most annoying omission for me. i also have a very large library (~80TB), and i have many shows/films with the same name but different release years (sometimes 3 or 4 items with the same name). with the aforementioned tiny summary view cover art, distinguishing by cover art is less useful. there’s plenty of space for the year and the old UI had it, so i don’t understand why this was removed. it’s also just useful information to have displayed without having to click another layer deeper into the UI.

all 3 of these things seemed fine in the previous UI, so i can’t understand why these changes were made. i can alleviate the frustration to some degree with stylish/tampermonkey, but i don’t think i should have to…
