I’d love to have a Library view that is Posters Only—no Title or Year beneath the Poster art, which seem superfluous in most cases since the Title of the movie is usually in the poster art itself.
It would help make the Library view feel a little simpler and cleaner and really let you focus on the beautiful movie poster artwork—and fit more of them on screen at a time.
Bonus points if we could control the padding between each poster, from 0 pixels up to the current amount.
Doesn’t seem like this would be too hard to implement or work into the UI.
Here’s a quick mockup of what it would like. Added a “Poster View” option to the “Grid View” menu.
A good third of my movies and about on fifth of my TV shows have posters that are pretty but not easily readable for even those that have the name in the poster. There are also a good number that only have a picture. I would just as soon simply see the series/show name.
It would be fine to include something like you suggested but I think it should be a triple toggle.
Just like it is now.

Title only. In this the real estate used should only be about the current width and just the height of about three reasonably large rows.
Many older people, like me, have trouble reading text that is not in good contrast with the background. That is why posters are often very hard for me and others to read.
When making a change to the visual interface there either needs to be consideration given to older people with weak or failing eyes.
A high contrast mode would be good but I do not want Plex to waste a lot of time on it. There are too many bugs/flaws/sloppy execution sections that need to be fixed to allow time to be wasted on purely cosmetic changes.
