One great feature of the plex API is the ability to play media to a plex client. Unfortunately, because the Plex Live TV section does not appear in the sections, calling a TV channel is not possible.
I think it would be a great addition to create a new virtual library as a “show” section for “Live TV” if creating a new “livetv” section isn’t ideal. Each channel could then be listed by channel number and channel name if available.
This would allow existing projects to call live TV to play on a plex player the same way a TV show or movie is called.
