Plex always chooses forced subtitles

Hi ! I don’t know if I’m missing something or if I don’t understand the logic behind it, but I can’t have full subtitles to be automatically selected.

My current settings are :

  • Preferred audio language : English
  • Preferred sub language : French
  • Auto select : Always

With this, Plex auto selects the right audio (english) but the wrong subs (forced-fr rather than fr)

Am I missing something or is there a bug ?

It’s a long-standing, known bug. It only manifests itself if the language preferences for audio and subtitles are set to different languages.

Well I didn’t search well enough, then, only found years old topic.

Thanx for the quick response, now I can wait peacefully for the fix !
