Forced subs overriding user default

For years now I have had my English subtitles enabled by default and every time it chooses forced subs over full subs. Is there a way to stop this?

What’s your specific audio and subtitle language preferences? Maybe you can share a screenshot


Are your subtitles tagged and recognized properly as full / forced ones?

I usually don’t put “FULL” but it was a test to see if that would change anything
 it didn’t

Those settings and files look ok.
From what I remember, Plex‘s automatic language selection for subtitles isn’t currently properly distinguishing between full and forced subtitles if always on is selected.

Looks like this is a bug then. Would you happen to know (or any Plex staff seeing this) if this is a known bug?
