Plex Amp iOS version on M1 Macbook cannot authenticate through web-based login, and 2FA is not supported

When using the iOS version of Plex Amp which is available on the App Store, the application will crash when you choose the “Sign in with browser” option, and succesfully authenticate. After the SSO “succeeds”, the application in the background will crash and quit.

Simply append the 2FA code to the password and put both into the “password” field.

The next public release of Plexamp will have proper 2FA support.

Thanks this is a good workaround for Plex accounts.

The app will still not work with SSO methods lie SIWA, Google or Facebook.
