Plex and DVR: USB DVB-T2 Stick won't find any channels

Hello there,

I was really looking forward for this brandnew feature of using DVB-T2 with Plex in order to view and record Live TV. So I just bought a Hauppauge DualHD Stick, one extra Antenna and also subscribed a lifetime Plex Pass.

But: It will not work :frowning: I can see my USB Device, I can start checking for channels, but Plex is not able to find any channel. When I plug this stick into my Windows machine, everything works fine.

So what do I have to do? Hope someone is able to help me.

I am using Plex V 1.7.2.3878-8088811b8 for ubuntu / amd64

Did you follow http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/linux.html under ‘Plex’ and then also run:

sudo usermod -a -G video plex

After you switch to the kernel above, and it should work after that.
