In the all clients, when viewing an actor/actress, you will see which programs in your libraries feature that actor/actress. In the desktop client and web client, the information shown includes the program name and their role. In the android/Shield TV client, the information shown omits their role for the year of the program. However in the next section down “known for” their role is shown.
I suggest it would be more helpful, and more consistent, to show their role in the “movies & shows in media libraries”. That is how it is handled in the web client. That is how it is handled in the “known for” section" on the very same page.
In my attached photos you can clearly see that Natascha McElhone is featured in two programs in my libraries. However - on the android client I cannot tell her role in “Absolutely Fabulous”. I can scroll through the “known for” section and hope the program is included there so I can determine the role - but in this case it was NOT a role in her known for section. In order to find her role in Absolutely Fabulous I needed to go to my computer and view the same page. Applying consistency here would solve that problem.
