+1 I would love a Plex app or any sort of workaround for the Switch. Perfect for when I’m traveling or sitting on my deck. I pay for Plex Pass and I’d even be willing to pay for an additional Switch app. I think the Nintendo approval process and the video format restrictions would obviously be the biggest hurdles. However, I’d love to be able to play my personal media on the go on my Switch.
Just want you to know you have another supportive person hoping that this magically (via super hard and appreciated Dev work) happens.

Yesterday a youtube app was released on switch.
I would expect a netflix app in the near future.

I would also really like an app for Switch. I would certainly reup my Plex Pass for it, especially if you save things for offline playback like you can on Android. Any news would be great!
