+1 I’d love to have a Nintendo Switch Plex app.

I do have an Plex Server at home, share it with four family members and use the WebClient and Plex apps for PS4 and Smart TV.

I do not own a mobile phone nor a tablet that could access Plex. I use my switch daily on my way to and from work and in my lunch break, and also every few weekends when I’m not at home.

An offline mode for which you could manually pre-load shows/movies/music would be very nice for the switch, because it only has wifi but no mobile internet, which defeats its portability.

The only downside of the Switch, that I already dislike with it’s YouTube app, is that you can only run one app at once. Meaning that you have to save your game (which isn’t possible in every game all the time) and quit it before switching to a streaming app. I wish Nintendo would allow these apps to be more like the News site, eShop or profile page (with an browser for Twitter & Facebook), that can run beside the games everytime you want.

till today we don’t have netflix app on nintendo switch I dont know why, but we got youtube app and hulu , Tbh I would prefer to have plex app on switch at that point i won’t even need the netflix app on switch.

but I think nintendo will refuse the download feature out of copy rights concerns so maybe plex team should apply to nintendo with an app that doesn’t have download option just stream/direct play

sorry to be the party breaker, but it did not happen in the last two primetime years of the switch and it will certainly not happen in the next two years unfortunately.
