@lolouk44 no need for the index.html copy all but index.html to /var/www/html
@ClosestStorm Thank you so much for doing this. I tried running the script on my Qnap NAS and it appears to work as expected. One thing I may try and change is allowing a port in the redirect in dns.conf.
Surely there must be a way of getting an app on the Panasonic Store rather than re-directing through lifeshow!

Did they give any explanation as to why it was rejected? Wonder if forwarding it to the Plex team and asking them to step in provide you āauthorityā to publish an unofficial release would help?
@KuDoZ83 rejected access link when I tried accessing it from a pc through I could do a redirect to make Plex installable instead of having dns method running 24/7, Plex should put it on app market Panasonics the only tv make that doesnāt have Plex
Can everyone like and share this Twitter post @plex to see if we can properly get their attention?
@KuDoZ83 retweeted your post Iāve try getting their attention already mind through twitter, have you tried my dns method better then side loading
Hi @ClosestStorm
just want to update myself to the current state
Whatās working right now? Is the app now in fullscreen, without the boarders? Or is it still the workaround with the intercepting webserver?
And if you like, you could contact Elan (elan@plex.tv). Heās pretty cool when it comes to something like this ^^

I hadnāt gotten around to trying the DNS option yet actually, but would love to give your docker container a go (I just redid my whole NAS based on linux.io docker images)
@KuDoZ83 Iāll up to it for you tomorrow and message you a link
made ajustment to my Plex url āhttp://plex.rbrit.orgā for html5 sdk browser mouse no longer appears after redirect
Hi ClosestStorm, I was able to host those files myself and browse to them using the Panasonic App Development browser thing and it worked. Is it possible to get it to work as standalone app now? and how
@maui1911
theres a standalone app but only works for hd tvās. I have come up with a dns method that redirects one app to plex instead.

i used the http://plex.tv/web/tv/generic link, and was able to login into Plex. it works, but wish I could get a FULL screen (hiding the navigation pane at the top and scroll bars). any ideas?the http://plex.tv/web/tv/lg link cuts off for me like mcgyver83 pictured.
the https://plex.rbrit.org simply re-routes to the http://plex.tv/web/tv/lg link.
as of now, Iām just using chromecast, but would prefer this to work.
thanks to all!

the boot up scripts only work on linux but you can run it manually extract content and run python ./fakedns.py -c ./dns.conf
